Hi, I’m Rachel!
I’m a marketing professional and social media enthusiast, blogging about life, marriage, [decaf] coffee and type 1 diabetes. I like to think I’m a photographer, one with a strange obsession with orchids and anything green.
Fueled by coffee and insulin, I blog about putting down roots in Cleveland and various aspects of my life.
I graduated with a BA in communications from Mount Union. I work in corporate marketing and research by day and blog about anything and everything by night.
I married high school sweetheart, Brad, in May of 2011 and we moved to Cleveland to pursue our careers.
You Should Meet Brad…
He may not write for ProbablyRachel.com (no matter how many times I say “pretty please”)… but he does make his fair share of appearances. Along with being the most wonderful husband in my world, he’s my full time technology consultant, part time personal photographer, best taste-tester and worst fashion consultant.
What You’ll Find on ProbablyRachel.com
ProbablyRachel was started during college in response to wonderful advice to “write every day.” The blog found it’s legs in the summer of 2011 as a way to share thoughts and feelings (as well as cope with) a new diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, losing my father and taking on the many changes and challenges of adulthood.
Today, I blog about:
- life
- marriage
- home ownership
- creative projects
- fashion
- living a “normal” life with type 1 diabetes
- traveling
You’ll also find the occasional commentary on social media, human behavior, gardening and style, along with plenty of photos of our rescued cat brothers, Holmes and Watson and new canine addition, Stella.
What You Want to Find on ProbablyRachel.com
I enjoy writing and encouraging conversation, which is why you’ll find so many subjects in one place. So you tell me, what do you want to find on probablyrachel.com?
The views expressed on this blog are my own unless otherwise noted and do not reflect the views of either Brad’s nor my employers.
Want me to write for you?
I’m open to writing opportunities so long as I feel they are relevant and don’t conflict with my day job, my morals or the law.
I’m happy to provide comments for round-up posts and one-time guest blog posts (I’m also open to trading guest posts!) with appropriate linking back here to my site.
You can find out more about working with me here.
My brother is also oddly obsessed with the color green, I don’t get it, red is the obvious first choice…
I like green too! Very much! 🙂
