Winter In Cleveland Doesn’t Have to Be Cold

The weather in Cleveland this week holds a chilly reminder that winter is coming! (I’m enjoying slightly warmer temps in Atlanta today for work.)

Sometimes you need to get out of the house and escape somewhere warm. You don’t necessarily need to get on a plane to do so. Here are two of my favorite warm places to go during a cold Cleveland winter.

The Rain Forest at the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo

You can read about my visit there here

The Glass House at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens

Although you can’t walk all the gardens in the winter, the  Glass House is nice and warm.

You can read about my Wednesday evening visit there right here.

Where’s your favorite place to go in the winter?

That is such a great idea, Rebecca! When we were in Montreal, we visited a bio-something and one of the biomes was the tropics. It was a mini-escape from the chilly weather outside. And you have the aesthetic benefit as well. The flowers are gorgeous!
