I”m rocking the green flats today

It’s St. Patrick’s Day weekend, I’m kind of a fan of this holiday. It’s not the drinking, I’m not significantly Irish and I certainly don’t jump all over corned beef and cabbage.

I like green.

Growing up, I liked all the “girly” colors. My favorite was pink for awhile, then it was purple because I decided I couldn’t have the same favorite color as my sister. As a grown up, I really like all colors and the combinations that you can make, plus textures and all of the fun things that you can do with them. But I have a distinct color preference of green. In most shades and weights.

So because almost everyone will be wearing green tomorrow, I’ll blend in quite well. But when people usually wear green once a year, I’m wearing it on a regular basis.

I got married while wearing green shoes.
